The Gunbus

The bike that the hotbabe is sitting is called the Gunbus. It is powered by 410-cubic-inch, air-cooled, pushrod V-Twin. The Gunbus is actually ready to ride on normal roads and soon and later will get into series production. Wondered how much strength I need to U-turn. More pictures after the break.

SolidAlliance’s heart-shaped USB drive studded with Swarovski stones

Thinking of gifting some really nice product to your girl friend on her birthday? If your answer is in affirmation then you can consider SolidAlliance’s latest usb memory. Its a heart-shaped drive with Swarovski stones embedded on its body. The drive offers 2gig memory and comes with a unique lock-key arrangement. To plug-in the drive, you first have to insert the key in the drive, then turn it around and voila the usb port comes out! I would have definitely bought one if it came without this lock-key arrangement as it makes using this drive totally impractical. Just tell me who’s gonna go around carrying chain and key. Still, if you want to gift it to your lady friend then go head and pick it up. You can now pick up this drive if you happen to live in Japan for about $74.

Wearable Cell Phone Concept

This cell phone concept is truly different as it toys with the idea of how we used to talk on an imaginary handset with our hand, both pinky and thumb stretch out while the rest of the fingers are clenched inwards. Of course, you will need to wear the phone on the back of your palm. in order for the whole thing to work, but I don’t think it will go down well with all situations such as a black tie event. On the upside, at least you are easily alerted to an incoming call due to the position of the phone itself as it vibrates.

Samsung Instinct Breaks Records

While everyone is pretty much excited about the iPhone’s release in 3G flavor, let us take a break at the moment and check out exactly how Samsung’s Instinct has been doing. Sprint’s partner, Best Buy, recently announced that the Instinct is officially the best selling handset from Best Buy over the past two years, shortly after laying claim to the title for being the fastest selling EVDO cell phone in Sprint’s history. After all, at just $129.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract, the value is pretty much clear to see. If you’re still in two minds on which phone to get, will you consider the Instinct over the iPhone?

RoverPC X7 Smartphone

Here’s a slider smartphone for you to consider if you want to move away from all the 3G iPhone hype that’s gripping the world in hysteria. The RoverPC X7 looks pretty solid, but how does it fare specifications wise? Check out the nitty gritty below.
* GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz* Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system* Marvell PXA310 624 MHz processor* 3.2″ 65k color QVGA touchscreen* Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR connectivity* Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g support* 2 megapixel camera* GPS navigation* Integrated FM radio* miniUSB port* microSD (SDHC) memory card slot
Not too shabby, eh? No idea how much it costs though.

Elonex unveils £129 One T netbook

The first Elonex One was an oddly-configured little beast, with the guts of the machine tucked behind the display for an unwieldy, top-heavy look that was only acceptable given the £100 ($199) pricetag and pseudo-tablet functionality it offered. That doesn’t mean Elonex isn’t after the rest of the netbook market, though — it’s just introduced the Elonex One T, which has a much more traditional form-factor and comes in a variety of colors, but retains the bargain basement price of £129 ($255). Of course, that means you’re getting an unspecified 400MHz processor and a 7-inch, 800 x 480 display that’s sure to be fairly medicore, but for just over a hundred quid, just be happy this thing doesn’t look still look like it fell out of 1983.

Vivitar DVR565HD Digital Camcorder

I’ve been passively looking for a cheap digital video camera for posting the occasional YouTube video. The JVC Everio S Series I wrote about yesterday is tempting, but I think it’s a bit too large to carry around on a daily basis, and I’d prefer something a bit cheaper. The Flip camcorders have also been near the top of my list, but they might have just been replaced with the latest Vivitar model that has finally popped up on Target’s website. The DVR565HD is capable of recording 30fps 720P “HD” videos in MPEG4 or H.264 directly to an SD card. (Up to 4GB cards are supported.) It’s also apparently able to play 1080i videos and can connect directly to an HDTV with an included HDMI cable. Not too shabby.
Even though it won’t be available for a few more weeks, Target currently has it listed on their site for just $129.99,

Sony Ericsson busts out a Ducati-themed Z770

We’ve seen plenty of gear co-branded by high-end automakers, but only Ducati’s really putting out bike-themed gear, and the latest gadget to get dressed up in cycle gear is the Sony Ericsson Z770 flip phone. Due out in Italy this June, the Ducati Z770 isn’t anything particularly special apart from that paint job and a special Ducati-themed HBH DS-220 headset, but if you’re into tri-band GSM non-smartphones with slightly better browsers, it’s not a bad piece of kit.

The Disney DM002SH Mobile Phone: Eyecandy!

If it’s a Disney mobile phone, it has to be themed around one of its cartoon characters. Wrong! Sharp straightens out the misconception by releasing its stylish DM002SH for Softbank. With a diamond-patterned and textured shell, this Disney phone might actually give some of the designer phones tough competition. Specs include 3G capability, HSDPA support, microSD slot, Bluetooth and Infrared, and a 2MP CMOS Camera with QVGA MPEG4 Recording. Certainly not meant for toddlers, this! Measuring 49×101.5×16.3 mm and weighing just 111gms, the phone fits snugly into your pocket.

A dual-display phone, the DM002SH features a 2.6 inch 240×400 Mobile ASV 260K color display as well as an external 0.5 inch monochrome OLED 60×32 display. 50 MB of built-in memory and a TV tuner round up the feature range. No details on the pricing yet, but be prepared to shell out additional moolah for the ‘Disney’ tag.

South America gets its own Punto Turbo

The European market is replete with sporty Fiats we can’t get over here, but the latest doesn’t even come from Italy. Fiat Automóveis is the automaker’s Brazilian subsidiary, and builds its own vehicles domestically, including some exclusive homegrown models. The South American division is now in the midst of presenting its latest sport model, the Fiat Punto Turbo.

Essentially what we’re looking at is the Punto Abarth, only it’s not called an Abarth. This model will carry the Fiat badge and differ from its Scorpion marque counterpart in one more significant way. Give up? Try counting the doors. While the Abarth version is available only in the three-door version, the Brazilian turbo model will come exclusively with five doors. The Portuguese-speaking hot hatch will carry the 155hp T-Jet from the Abarth, along with a tightened suspension, 17-inch wheels and upgraded brakes, along with all manner of aero and trim upgrades inside and out. Although the specific launch date and sticker price have not yet been revealed, Fiat Automóveis’ Punto Turbo is anticipated to hit the market in Brazil and Argentina before the end of the year. Check out the images in the gallery below to see all the angles.

Audi R8 boasts LEDs aplenty

Audi has already manged to work some LEDs into a few of its cars (concepts and otherwise), but the automaker has gone all out with its latest Audi R8, which employs LEDs for seemingly every lighting function. That includes the 24-LED running lamps the R8 had before, along with some brand LED high and low beam headlights, and LED turn signals, which add up to some 54 LEDs in all. Of course, given the prices that single LED bulbs demand these days, it should come as no surprise that this is quite the pricey option, with it adding a full €3,590 (or about $5,560) to the R8’s already lofty sticker price.

REDI MP3 Players Come Preloaded With Music

While iTunes has made the process of legally acquiring MP3s a lot easier than it used to be, there are still plenty of people who have no idea how to even boot up a computer, let alone load music onto an MP3 player. And that’s pretty much the target market for the REDI. It’s a basic 1GB MP3 player that comes preloaded with about 250 tracks, which is equal to about 6 hours of music. Since everyone has different tastes, the REDI comes in a variety of different ‘themes’ depending on what you like. If you intend to use itfor running or jogging you can go for the ‘Ultimate Workout Mix’ but if you’d prefer to relax you can choose the ‘Golden Classics’ version instead.
At the moment there appear to be about 8 different versions of the REDI, but it also features a USB mini jack allowing you to upload your own MP3 (or WMA) files at a later time. Other features include an FM radio tuner, a simple LCD display and playback controls and of course a pair of earbud headphones that you’ll probably want to immediately replace. Best Buy currently has 4 versions of the REDI for sale, including the Ultimate Workout Mix, the Ultimate Rock N’ Roll Collection, the R&B Soul Collection and Golden Classics for $39.99 each.

There’s no additional info about the price of the DMC-50 and we’re not sure if you can get it from Kenko’s Web site, too.

Pink Silver edition of Motorola RAZR2 launched in Korea

Mobile phones are the rage among the youth and there is no doubt about it. Therefore, when it was announced that the new Motorola RAZR2 model released in Korea - the RAZR2 Pink Silver, is designed to appeal to the young generation there was no element of surprise in the statement. I feel that the pink tint on metallic silver is biased more towards young women. If young men like the color, I have no objection to their choice. Other than the change in design, RAZR2 Pink Silver has the usual powerful features including Bluetooth, camera, VOD, MOD, MP3, GPS, high-speed USB 2.0 and of course the all-important dual displays. It has two displays allowing the user to send messages even when the handset is shut.

Canon’s PowerShot SD1100 IS gets reviewed

Like pretty much every other Digital ELPH preceding it, Canon’s flagship SD1100 IS garnered nothing but the utmost praise in a recent Imaging-Resource review. Okay, so maybe critics did kvetch about slight noise at ISO 800, a somewhat confusing interface, and a not-particularly-useful digital zoom, but this point-and-shoot managed to get it right in the areas that matter most. Build quality and design were both smiled upon, the image stabilization performed as advertised and the image quality was deemed “excellent.” Of note, they did find very minor chromatic aberration in the wide angle shots, but considering the size of this shooter, results were seen as fantastic. Overall, it looks like Canon has produced yet another winner in the pocket-friendly camera department, but feel free to take a gander at the in-depth review waiting in the read link below.

HTC Touch Diamond Hands On Photos

Whenever a new smartphone gets released we would all like to get as many details as possible about what it does and when it will be available. We also would like to see as many pictures as possible. We’d like to have our own hands on those models but in the mean time we can offer you other people’s experience. We talked about the HTC since it got officially launched in London last week.

Ubana uCan Wearable MP3 Player

The uCan MP3 player from Ubana is yet another waterproof device to hit the market, giving swimmers (synchronized or otherwise) an additional method to relax while they’re busy cutting through the waves. It comes with 1GB of storage space in addition to 15 hours of playback time. You won’t be able to take this diving with you though, as it has a maximum working range of just 10 feet beneath sea level - any more than that and I believe the pressure will just crush the waterproof protection, rendering it useless. Good thing it floats up should it happen to slip off while you’re busy with your laps.

Corsair 32GB Ultra Rugged Flash Survivor USB Drive

Given Moore’s Law, and the general pattern of technological advancement over the past 20 years, it’s inevitable that we’ll all be carrying around tiny flash drives capable of storing terabytes of data one day. But even with that in mind, I’m still impressed with Corsair’s latest Flash Survivor USB drive that packs a whopping 32GB into a relatively compact package. What also sets the Flash Survivor apart from other USB drives is its ultra rugged design. You may live your whole life without ever needing a waterproof flash drive that has a CNC-milled anodized aircraft-grade aluminum case, but it’s always better to be safe than sorry.
